Hello, I am Faeze Arami, a PhD student in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Alberta, supervised by Professors Vincent McFarlane and William Zhang. My doctoral research focuses on river ice hydraulics during the freeze-up period, with the goal of developing a method for estimating river discharge when frazil ice pans are partially covering the water surface. Outside of research, I enjoy hiking and exploring Canada's river valleys.
