Hello! I am an Assistant Professor in Water Resources Engineering and part of the River Ice Research Group at the University of Alberta, with my research primarily focused on ice formation and the river freeze-up process.

The CGU-HS Committee on River Ice Processes and the Environment (CRIPE) is hosting the 22nd Workshop on the Hydraulics of Ice-Covered Rivers on July 9-12, 2023 in Canmore, AB!

This workshop is a great way to learn about exciting research on all sorts of river ice related issues, and to meet members of the river ice community from Canada and around the world.

There will also be a 1-day short course on river ice modelling on July 13.
